Synthetic Gut: Solid nylon core with outer wraps. A balanced option offering good durability, comfort and control.
Monofilament / Polyester: Single solid string designed for durability, control and spin. Typically used by harder hitters and advanced players.
Multifilament: Made from many fine fibres woven together. Softer and more comfortable with better shock absorption.
Hybrid Combination of two different strings (usually polyester and multifilament or synthetic gut): Designed to balance spin, durability and comfort.
